The Haven was born from a God given calling to support patients holistically while best caring for my sweet family of seven. I love the work I do and the mission I’ve been given. From the need to blend them both together well, The Haven was born.

Izzi Buckles has a bachelors in Dietetics from Western Illinois University. She has her masters from New York Chiropractic College (now Northeast College of Health Sciences) in Applied Clinical Nutrition. She is currently working on her PhD in Christian Health and Healing and is expected to graduate in 2026.

Izzi has been in practice serving the community holistically since 2017.

Izzi is a Certified Clinician in Whole Food Nutrition (2020). An advanced trained Nutrition Response Testing practitioner (2017-2019). A certified Emotion Code Practitioner (2020).

Izzi specializes in fertility care, perinatal care and postnatal depletion.

Izzi is most importantly a daughter of The King, the wife to Tyler and a mother to their 5 beautiful children. If she isn’t studying or working you will find her at church or the gym!

I’m a proud mom of four and wife to my husband, Alex. My journey in the world of health began at just 15, and it has grown into a lifelong passion. Over the years, I’ve gained experience working with geriatrics, pediatrics, and newborns, and I’m now continuing my education in holistic care. Currently, I’m furthering my education in muscle testing and have exciting plans to expand into other areas of holistic health in the future.

Outside of my professional life, you’ll often find me outdoors with my kids—we love hiking, exploring, and spending time together in nature. Whether it’s a trip to the beach, an adventure in the mountains, or discovering new places with family and friends, I’m always eager to learn, grow, and connect with people along the way.

I’m thrilled to partner with The Haven to handle your day-to-day messaging, scheduling, and administrative details so the team can focus fully on the healing work they do.

Outside of work, my husband and I live in Maxwell with our energetic 1-year-old son and our sweet 9-year-old Great Dane mix. I’m involved in our church (serving on the marriage ministry team) and volunteer at the local library, where I currently serve as President of the Board of Trustees.

Organization has always been my superpower! I live for color-coded calendars, fresh notebooks, and my favorite pens & highlighters. I even playfully call myself the “Word Wizard” because I geek out over clear communication and getting everything perfectly in order!

My connection to The Haven runs much deeper than admin support. My holistic health journey began with an infertility diagnosis that led me to seek answers beyond conventional medicine. The medications offered came with tough side effects and limited hope, so I turned to a whole-person approach. That’s when I met Izzi.

Her guidance was truly transformative. She helped me heal on a deeper level and supported me through a healthy pregnancy as my husband and I grew our family through embryo adoption with Nightlight’s Snowflakes program. A year ago, we joyfully welcomed our son into the world. Throughout this beautiful, multifaceted journey, Izzi and The Haven have been there, supporting our family’s health and well-being.

Today, I’m truly blessed to be part of the same compassionate team at the Haven; not just as your behind-the-scenes helper, but as someone who has walked a similar path and truly understands the hope, challenges, and joy you’re experiencing.
